I am Raphael Thierry, I have worked in the wine industry for more than 15 years, mainly as a sommelier, and I understand the importance of writing and recording your professional tasting notes. In 2013, I won the Louis Roederer UK Innovative Wine List of the Year, I don’t write this to exhibit myself, but to show you that during my career I always tried to be creative and modern. I was always amazed to see that professional tasting notes are recorded on pen and paper, it is very impractical for both tasting organizers and wine professionals. The wine industry is not the fastest to move toward technology, but I think it is time for us to embrace the digital age and upgrade our experience.
